Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - Currently booked YYZ-HKG in F; Should I switch to JFK-HKG?

I am currently booked YYZ-HKG in F next February, as I tend to prefer the overnight (at night) flight with a late departure then the 2 non-stops departing during the day from JFK. With that in mind, I was entertaining the option of switching to JFK because of ease (I am currently connecting in YYZ on another airline). Would anyone recommend one flight over another? I know both have the new product so I am not so concerned from a pure seat standpoint.
Cheers
P.S. Is anyone aware of any plans to cut the Toronto route? I was looking for availability next February/March and there is literally nothing in any cabin for months either direction (I found nothing).
I have a flight booked on the route in April. Fingers crossed? But I don't really think they're going to cut this route...

I guess what I should have asked; is there anything substantially different between the two flights that should warrant me switching from one to the other?
On the topic of this flight showing nothing in regards to rewards for months, its very peculiar that I can literally find nothing in any class until EOS starting suspiciously after the first of the year; On all other NA routes I can at least find whY. Anyone have any insight?

You get the full CX F breakfast YYZ-HKG, but surprisingly not on the morning JFK flight. For me, that makes a big difference, as at that hour, my sensitive stomach expects breakfast food and isn't particularly happy with anything else.

1,000 thank you's oh wise one, I had no idea that thread existed . My question is more about the speculation revolving around the possible cancellation of this route judging by my own experience and NOT about whether I can secure an award seat on this route.

Interesting; assuming the route is still around I have no plans to swap at this time.
