not if you book it as a package hotel+flight on travelocity and use a travelocity voucher. Most of the value of the voucher will go toward the cost of the plane ticket.

Looks like they're trying to make up for possible rev loss - dates I plugged in $359-$399 per night!

Seems like it's gone! Wonder if they will honor this rate. It looks like a crappy hotel anyway. :o

Ha, ha. Probably also a mistake rate, but in the wrong direction. To see it yourself & for a good laugh, plug in dates 2-5 December.

Looks to me like this is no longer bookable on their own website (errors out) or Travelocity.com ($1.25 rate shows but isn't available when clicking through), so I'll mark this thread "Expired." If you find this deal to be bookable, please send me a PM and I will edit the thread title.

Their website hasn't permitted a booking for over 48 hours, as far as I can tell. Still no word from them. Anybody hear anything?

I haven't gotten an email or anything after the confirmation email. So I guess it's a go!

Who has the first 1 cent reservation so we can see if this is really being honored? I've got the first week in 2010. Havent heard a thing from the hotel.

5 days into this, and the website still won't permit any reservations. That's some IT team!

I got a letter in the mail yesterday basically saying they are not honoring this rate. "Unfortunately, the room and rate for which you booked your stay was never supposed to be listed on the live Genares Web Site. These rooms are simply not available. We are investigating how this error could have occurred in order to prevent any further mistakes and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you."

They said the room was supposed to be $79 a night and would give out a 15% discount if I decide to renew my reservation.

What a lame discount! I would never pay that much to stay at this hotel. I am going to call them up later. Although I am not even sure if I want to fight this. LOL

Anyone else got a letter?

Yes, my letter came in today's mail.... "Unfortunately, the room and rate...was never supposed to be listed.... These rooms are simply not available...."
So, I have my reservation confirmation emails. And I have a snail mail denying it. Do we have a lawyer out there who wants to make a recommendation?
