Because it's low season... the 777s and 744s are currently heavy used to routes to BKK (high season for Thailand)

I'm on a 777 to LHR on the 9:05 AM flight. Do they ever swap out to a 767 before the flight? It's next Friday, the 13th.

I don't recall such an incident, of course something can always go technically wrong, but in my opinion you can be relaxed you'll have your 777
