Hi all

Looking at booking a RTW next year.

I am not really sure how it all works, but am I right in thinking all the Continental Routes get added to the online planner.

Or am I completely missing something

This makes a big difference as there are direct Anchorage to New York Routes so if someone who knows how this works could tell me that would be awesome ;)

CO has only been in *A for a few hours, so a little patience is probably in order.

You might want to check - I am pretty sure that while CO does have direct flights to EWR, they are not nonstop (they stop in SEA).

Yesterday, I tried to put together a RTW ticket going through Guam, but the *A online tool does not have the CO flights added in yet. I know that CO has only been in *A for a few days, but it's not as if they started planning the switch yesterday. They've had months to work on this. The *A TravelDesk app was updated the day CO joined. Why couldn't they update the database for the online tool in the same timeframe?

I'm also looking at the HNL-TKK-GUM-CNS route on CO for my next RTW - it's a great addition to the trans-pacific routing (im always going via Australia).

Hi!
I am working on a RTW trip for next year. I called the Book & Fly people this morning to ask about Continental flights. The operator there said that they will be accessible on November 12.

Good luck with your trip!

At least some of Continental is in the tool now as Guam shows up, and CLE-SFO is showing direct (only flown by CO).

However does anyone know if the Continental Micronesia flights should be allowed for a RTW ticket? None of the islands between Guam and Hawaii are showing up but I was hoping to island hop them on a RTW.

I was hoping to do likewise but appears the 5-stop flight is changing to 1-stop sometime between November and January.

It appears that CO is a bit stingy when it comes to RTW-fares, CRWSTAR has to be booked in Z rather than D, only FRWSTAR fares can be booked in D.

The 10/27/09 fare rules can be found here (http://www.airnzagent.co.nz/resources/star-rtw123-27oct09.pdf)
