Hyatt Gold Passport - HP 2 different Hyatt.com rates for same night?

I'm trying to book a one night stay in the http://dullesairportnorth.place.hyatt.com HP for the 13th December. When I just select the rate for one night, it comes up to $143 under the Hyatt.com rate but when I select 4 nights, for example 10-14 December this very same 13th of December night is only $79 at the same Hyatt.com rate.
The rate should be called different and not a "hyatt.com" rate for both if the price differs, shouldn't it? I was planning to have this as part of my FFN gathering because I'm planning a trip to the East coast this winter but now I've come across these high single night stay rates. Is there a way to overcome them or how do people get cheaper stays at HP?

Not that unusual especially given that 12/13 is a Sunday. 1 nights stays on Sun often works out to a "weekday" rate. What is a bit unusual is that the cheaper rates start on a Thurs night.
I don't think there is anyway around this - I've tried before to book the cheaper rate and then call in to modify the reservation to reduce the nights - the higher rate is what is quoted.

People get less expensive stays at HP/SS on Fridays and Saturdays. The only other dates that this is possible is during Thanksgiving and Christmas weeks.
It seems as if you had better cancel or re-schedule your trip.

Well, my plan so far is to depart LHR on 13th bound to JFK, spend 3 nights in NYC (2 nights at Hyatt on Hudson ($150/ night) and 1 night at the HP Seacucus ($179/ night!! might reconsider), then Boston, one night in the Hyatt Regency (~199$), one night in the HP Boston/Medford ($136) and one night at Hyatt Cambridge ($80) then from there go to DC and change between the GH and Capital Hill twice (so 4 stays in total = 2 FFN), then for the last night stay at the BWI HP to catch my flight to NYC on 24th in the afternoon, then catch flight back to LHR in the evening!
Aahh, this should give me about 5 FFN but I'm also doing it for fun before Christmas and also to celebrate the hopefully good ending of my first year at med school. I know I could not stay 2 nights at the Hyatt on the Hudson and I could choose cheaper hotels but I also want to enjoy myself and not make it too hard, and I've also never been to DC and Boston before so I'm looking forward to this.
What does everyone think? :D
