Mileage Run Discussion - Help with AA MR out of ORD in December.

I've got a pretty tight window in which I can travel in mid December, from the evening of the 11th to the evening of the 13th. Looks like I'll only need about 6400 miles to (barely) reach EXP with DEQM, after which I can take a deep breath for a few months.

Right now AA isn't really competitive on.... anything, and the best I can find is ORD-MAD for $757 or ORD-MAN for $789.

With only 6400 miles needed though, would you guys suggest that I try to do CUN or SJO twice in one weekend though? Would that be less miserable or a better use of my time? What do you guys think?

for 6400 bis, why not check hnl....or ord-sfo/lax-jfk-sfo/lax-ord....good luck..

considering the mileage goal transcons might be a better bet, assuming weather holds out (iffy in mid-Dec!)

I'm personally fond of Madrid and the IB lounge in T4S but this is overkill in your case. you might want to defer doing a MAD-MR for a longer weekend when you can enjoy the city for a day or two.

can you leave Saturday Dec 5 and Return on Sunday Dec 6th?
