That's the only regularly programmed A332 turn. A number of the others are now protected by 738s -- also "new" interiors, tho' not the same as the Airbii. UMD Oct 26, 09, 11:01 pm As a GA Business Class passenger, you can now check in at the JetQuay terminal at Changi airport. See this Garuda Update from Garuda Indonesia Singapore office: http://www.garudaindonesia.com.sg/News_Updates/GarudaUpdates_Oct-Dec2009.pdf The 738 with the new signature interior is only confined to PK-GMA which has been doing the CGK - DPS - PER and several domestic runs. The second 738 (PK-GMC) is coming to join the fleet in November and could be used for BKK and HCM (via SIN) runs. These new 738s will feature better IFE system than the A332s in all classes. The Business Class seats on these new 738s are very nice and comfortable with great pitch albeit not horizontally lie flat like those on the A332s. GA's 4th A332 (PK-GPI) will be delivered in the next 2 weeks. Photos of both this 4th A332 and the 2nd B738 are now appearing on the internet. SeaMeFly Oct 27, 09, 11:16 am Thanks guys!!! 2ndly, do you have any recommendation of a travel agency in Singapore or should I book directly from GA Singapore website? It seems to me that the website charges $10 booking fee!!! weird, it's their own website and they charge booking fee! Penguinmoon Oct 28, 09, 11:41 pm Wow! You can book international on GA websiet in SIN? In Jakarta, we can only book domestic flights on their website. Have you checked zuji.com? I book a lot of inter asia flights thru this site.... I book a lot of inter asia flights thru this site.... Yes you can but you still have to go down to GA's ticket office to pay for the ticket within 3 days after your booking on-line. On line e-ticketing is still a half-baked concept for GA unfortunately. The good thing is I heard that GA would be re-launching its website early 2010 to incorporate the on-line booking and purchasing of e-ticket function as part of its revampment program. For now, your best best to buy any GA ticket on-line is via www.zuji.com.sg UMD Nov 17, 09, 12:57 pm You can now book online and be issued with e-ticket if booked via Garuda Indonesia Singapore website. As for the use of JetQuay Terminal, you need to call Garuda's on-line customer service and let them know that you will be using this premium terminal service. Garuda will then make a reservation for you and issue you a voucher for entry. If not, you can still use the lounge at T1 which is quite nice as well. |
