bmi diamond club - Re-set a bit funny....

Has anyone's membership year reset recently? I was over the 55,000 status miles and thought that everything above that was carried over? OK its only around 7,000 miles but it doesnt look like they have.

Anyone else noticed this? Apologies if already posted....couldnt find the answer.

Yes, mine last week (which happened immediately and went without a hitch for once).

Was not aware of anything over 55k being carried over. Miles above 55k get converted to destination miles but no status miles are carried over from year to year AFAIK.

I'm afraid you possibly did. The 55k only converts to destination miles and in your current membership year. Nothing carries over into a new membership year. You have to earn your 38k from 0.

Apologies for wasting folks time - I just re-read it. For some reason I thought it was the same as Flying Blue (over 115,000 carry over as status miles).

That aside I am not sure the extra went on as destinations miles anyway....can't tell!
