I don't know if anyone else is getting this error in their EC profile, but when I attempt to make a reservation while logged in, I've noticed the following message around the drop-down menu used to select a preferred credit card:

Incomplete Profile: In order to use the counter bypass service for Emerald Club, you must complete your profile information with Personal Info, Credit Card & Coverage options: >> Complete your profile <<

Thing is, my profile is as complete as it can be. When you get to the last screen before confirming, there is a similarily-worded warning near the bottom of the screen:

In order to use the counter bypass service for Emerald Club, you must complete your profile information with Personal Info, Credit Card & Coverage options.

I made a dummy booking for a fullsize at SEA, with no contract ID or coupons and instead of Executive Selection got this:

Level Of Service: Counter
In order to use the counter bypass service for Emerald Club, you must complete your profile information with Personal Info, Credit Card & Coverage options.

I suppose this is a system switchover-related glitch? Anybody else getting this or is Natamoprise just having some fun with me? :p

Works fine for me. Just made/modified a few res. and got no such message. I guess you can make the res. you want and always go back and modify it once the glitch is over. Or if you're a real glutton for punishment you can call Emerald Club Customer Service and ask them to fix your acct.

I had this a few weeks ago when I changed something minor in my profile. It looks like there was a field that didn't exist previously, and it wasn't being set properly.

If you call the EC number, they can fix your profile and it'll work fine online after that.

I e-mailed tech support since it isn't terribly urgent (forgot to mention this in the OP). It looks like in the credit card information there's a field for the CID (3-digit number on the back of the card). I put that in and the glitch went away, but now it's back and the CID field is blank again. So we'll wait to see what CS says...

It might be time for Renewal. We have to re-check your cc/dl in the COUNTER profile. Some things you can't do at home. There is a CC preference field on OUR screen. It defaults to "0" and must be set to 1, 2 blah blah blah. We need to get signature on file again every year for your CC on file for corp...have to do at the counter.
Emerald Club for you is Free but we have to have certain things on file for the CC companies. It might be that Your Time is Due for these things!!!
Hit a counter and find out.

Some things you just can't do for yourself. Sorry.
