Just curious, what is the procedure to claim missing miles after a system generated email was received requesting original boarding pass?
I was booked on Air France BNE to CFE with the following routing: BNE SIN CDG CFE. Unfortunately due to a death on the inbound aircraft; and the failure of this aircraft to actually make it to singapore I was put on a KLM flight to Amsterdam and then Clermont Ferrand. There was another cancellation in AMS during boarding process and I was again rerouted to make the final routing as follows: BNE SIN AMS LYS CFE
When I arrived in CFE my bag didnt, it didnt arrive for any of the passengers originating in Amsterdam, and when it was delivered a few days later, it was severely damaged to the point that it was replaced at the shop AF recommended I take it to for it to be fixed.
Unfortunately again; the shop insisted on keeping the original boarding passes in order to process the claim.
My AF account still shows the routing via AMS and LYS; but when I submitted the claim for miles on the web I received the following email:
Dear Mr. G,
On 24/10/2009, you made an online request for Flying Blue Miles. Your online request was for flight KL 0838 from SIN to AMS on 7/10/2009.
Your ticket number was: 000000000000
Unfortunately, we were not able to validate your request in our registration system.
For further processing of your request, we invite you to print this e-mail and send it via post to your Flying Blue customer service center, including your original boarding pass, a copy of your ticket or trip summary (in the event of e-tickets), according to the General Terms and Conditions.
The General Terms and Conditions can be found on the KLM ( www.klm.com ), Air France ( www.airfrance.com ) or participating airlines' websites.
In future, to make sure your Flying Blue Miles are credited to your account, always mention your Flying Blue membership number when booking a ticket and checking in for a flight.
Thank you for using this service. We hope you will visit the Air France and KLM websites again soon.
PLEASE DO NOT REPLY, AS THIS IS AN AUTOMATICALLY GENERATED MESSAGE
ironically the only boarding pass i still have is the one that an AMS agent enthusiastically tore in half when I asked her if I can keep it as a souvenir.
can I send in the screen shot of the routing on my AF account on their web site?
please advise; thanks!

PS. It was my understanding that because of the N booking class I would receive 25% of the actual miles flown but on my Qantas operated BNE SIN leg I got the full 100% I was so excited the same would happen for the AMS leg; but now it doesnt look like ill get anything for that
