MilesBuzz! - Bumping Question(Self service kiosks)

Hi

Never tried but just wanted to know how does bumping works for self service kiosks if somebody experience.

Couple of months back while checking in through self service kiosks at SEATAC.I was asked this question"Would you be flexible to take another flight"

Its not exact but something like that .

The flight was already scheduled for departure at 11.30pm.

Now I selected now but would like to know how things work in these cases.

Are you screwed if you say "Yes" at this stage or it will give you all the details as you progress and then you can select yes or no

Basically how does it work????

I think you should specify which airline's kiosk you were using, and then pose the question in that airline's forum. It's quite likely that different airlines have different ways of VDBing you through the kiosk, if they offer it at all. I know that DL has begun offering VDB at the kiosk, but I've never done it personally so I can't comment on it.

As Jassop suggested, this is best placed in whatever airline forum you are planning to fly with. Since it has not been specified, I'll close the thread, and the OP can start a new one at the proper forum.
