I have just had a very nice lunch in the lounge they use, Premium Plaza, to be told beer, gin, whiskey & vodka all free but wine is charged. I recall wine was free in here. I am in the first class section by the way not the piad for section. Seems very sytrange but the very nice young man manning the lounge explaned the tax is so high that they have to charge for it. The last 3 nights in the hotel we have been paying on avaerage around $2500 NTD a bottle.
Why would the government focus on wine and not other spirits.
Unusual as well is the pilots to my flight in here eating as well
