Read several times over I cant see where it says its refundable nor do I see any where saying its nonrefundable :confused: Change fee waived for golds? I dont know much regarding awards. I rarely use them but since I will hit gold before years end Im going to burn some miles at the end of the year

Award tickets require immediate purchase.
Any changes to this itinerary may result in an increase in your taxes or require additional miles.
You may cancel and have your miles redeposited or make one change, for no fee, to a U.S., Canada, or Mexico itinerary within 24 hours of original purchase, or an international itinerary within 72 hours of original purchase.
Your itinerary may be changed without a service fee.
Changes to your current itinerary may result in a higher fare and an additional collection of funds.

Alaska Airlines assesses a $100 (USD) per person change fee for changing a confirmed itinerary through an Alaska Airlines/Horizon Air Reservations Call Center or Airport Ticket Counter and $75 (USD) change fee for changes made at alaskaair.com.
To make changes, request seats, or make other special requests to a reservation including only Alaska/Horizon flights (no partner flights), please contact Alaska Airlines at 1-800-ALASKAAIR (1-800-252-7522).
Itineraries containing any partner flights are considered Partner Awards and will be valued at the partner airline's award mileage value.
Please contact the Partner Desk at 1-800-307-6912 for changes or cancellations to any itinerary with partner flights.
For special requests on a partner flight, please contact the other carrier directly.
Tickets cannot be sold, bartered, or traded.
Partner award tickets are nontransferable.
Mileage may not be earned on award travel.
For your first award purchase at alaskaair.com, 1,000 bonus miles will be awarded. Note: Bonus miles will be forfeited for booking cancellations, refunds, or changes to a different award type.

I know that as a Gold, your miles are refundable, and free of change fees. For non MVPGs its a $100 miles redeposit fee, or a $75 or $100 change fee.

A full flex award is fully refundable for no fees, same as a full Y paid ticket.

SuperSaver and Choice awards incur the normal change fee for refunds... which is of course waived for Golds

Thanks for confirming this... I thought that was the case when AS was discussing this last year (only good thing about spending soo many miles IMHO) is the flexibility...
