InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Priority Privilege miles earning?

Hey, if I'm staying on a Priority Privilege BOGO rate in Australia can I change my earning preference and get Qantas points?

Also, if I choose Qantas points do I still get earn nights towards the Ambassador Accelerator promo (and other promotions)?
