bmi diamond club - ANA codeshare on VS metal

I did a search but nothing was conclusive, other than the sticky saying YMMV with non-*A codeshares. So does anyone have experience flying on VS metal on a ANA ticketed codeshare, and crediting it to bmi for the membership status miles?

I'm looking at the ANA 6352/6351 to NRT operated by VS. Have to say I'm pretty BA loyal, but was comped BD gold status and have decided *G is a good thing to have, so the 24,000 miles would be very useful, particularly as I've already earned BA gold for another year. And of course it would be a major bummer to take the flight and not have it count towards status.

It's bad news I'm afriad. Unlike OW, with Diamond Club, it's the metal that counts, so I'm afraid you won't be getting the status miles.

Normally this would mean no miles at all, but because it's Virgin you should at least get some destination miles, as VS is a partner, just not a *A partner.
