Flying Blue (Air France & KLM) - Award Brazil-US/Canada in June/July

Hello!

I would like to book the following flight: GRU-YYZ-LAX-GRU in June. The latest date that it is able to book is 12th May. I called FB and they told me that is already "full". I don't get it. For me, personally, I think that it is not yet possible to book it because Delta hasn't its summer/2010 schedule.

Does anyone can explain me what is going on? Is it going to be possible to book this flight?

Just a side note, I feel really disappointed with AF/KL. I have 80k miles that is really difficult to book a flight using them. Either they have high taxes (just as discussed in another thread) that makes it cheaper flying with another carrier, or the amount needed is really high (when bookable). From now on, I will ge back to Star Alliance. I had never had such problems when Varig was still part of it.

Thanks for the help! :D

Delta flights are bookable by its own frequent flyer program members 330 days in advance. Further, there is no rush of award inventory on that first date: award seats are released as revenue management comes firmly to believe seats can not be sold.

May 12th is a FlyingBlue program rule, not Delta's.

Thanks for the reply! Does anyone have a clue when these flights will be released to book them using miles? Otherwise i would like to book the flight before it gets more expensive.

Thanks!
