InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - New iPhone enabled IHG site

The IHG site as seen on an iPhone (and perhaps other devices) has been completely useless until the last few days. However, the site seems to have improved dramatically (including search round current location):

It's obviously not quite there yet - it errors when I try to view my forthcoming reservations, and doesn't let me save my Priority Club number, but definitely a step in the right direction.

I agree it's a step in the right direction from the old mobile site but I always view the full site on my iphone for the best results.

The new iphone site is displaying some pretty interesting booking information...
My smoking preference has now changed to "smoking" for all my bookings. On the website it still says "non-smoking"
My confirmation # for tomorrow has no less than 3 entries (hopefully multiple upgrades ;)). On the standard website I can only see "call for details" for this booking.

Strangely, the reservations which are not visible on internet can be seen on the i phone version. A good way to anticipate upgrades?

Good news. I don't have any upcoming bookings so wasn't aware of this one. Fingers crossed for your upgrade. ^

Wow! I have an existing reservation at the AstorCP in New Orleans which charges $36 daily for parking. That is reflected when reviewing the confirmed stay on the standard website. The mobile website, however, shows complimentary parking. I called about the discrepancy and was told that, if I brought in a printout, they would have to honor the deal although they obviously needed to investigate the glitch. I would guess that the mobile site currently defaults to "complimentary" in the parking field so it would be worth it for anyone with existing reservations which include a fee for parking to check it out on the mobile site. Thanks for the tip.

From the attached link, it looks like Hilton are about to launch an iPhone app which will include remote check-in.

At the bottom of the article, it mentions Intercontinental will be launching their iPhone app early next year.

remote check in would be pretty cool, just imagine checking into your hotel after a long flight from the airport.. sure beats waiting another 10-15 minutes when you arrive!

15 minutes after I'd arrived from a long flight I'd have left and gone to another hotel!
Not sure why you'd have a long flight from the airport, though?:D
