Apartments in resorts—fully-furnished, fully-equipped, one bedroom or two-bedroom apartments in large oceanfront, lakefront or mountain resorts—are the main "stock in trade" of EVRentals.com (standing for Endless Vacation Rentals), a subsidiary of the giant Wyndham Hotels chain (largest current owner or manager of worldwide hotels). Wyndham (or EVRentals) has this week announced the "Year End BlowOut," a price of $299 per week for a complete vacation apartment from October 11 through December 20, provided only that the reservation is made no later than October 26. These apartments (thousands of them) are available at famous resorts in:

California
Florida
Arizona
Nevada
Tennessee
Texas
The Bahamas
Canada
St. Maarten
And in a dozen other states of the United States

You may book by calling 877-782-9387 or by going, for more information, to www.wyndham-vacations.com. All travel must be completed by December 20, 2009. Not valid on check-ins for November 20-22, 2009. Promotion cannot be combined with any other discount or offer. Specific resorts and specific dates will reflect discount. Discount not applicable to any other properties or dates.

Try skyauction also. They auction off certs for many of the same properties.I won an auction with a bid of $1 but you do get charged a tax and service of $195+$20 processing. They seem to offer these daily so if you miss today bid again tomorrow

wow - seems like a real good deal, but unfortunately just not going to work for what I am now trying to book. I actually am going to need a block of 10-12 rooms for a small meeting (perferably somewhere warm) starting January 3rd. Something like this may actually work, however, so this gives me another option to consider.
