InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Wrong Country in address details on Check-in.

I can't work this out.

My "business" address (and preferred address) with Priority Club is a Post Office Box located in a location in Australia. Yet, a lot of the time, Hotels have my address as being in the US somewhere - Kentucky has been mentioned a few times.

I can't work out where they get that from - and tbh rarely correct them. On a recent stay, the Check-in person noted that I was Australian and manually corrected the address.

It's happened at several hotels, so isn't a hotel specific issue.

Any ideas why it might be happening?

(Oh, and I realise you're not supposed to use a PO Box as your business or personal address, but I've never had a hotel complain!)

I have occasionally noticed on the pre-printefd checkin paperwork the country portion of my address (actually US) is the local country, but the rest of the address is fine.

Most recently, last week at the HI Glasgow.

I have alwasy assumed that for whatever reason they have a sw bug that causes the country field not to copy over....
