Other Hotel Programs - Accor hotel search - why so shy about the price?

When I search for hotels on the Accor website for a particular set of dates, it will show me a list of hotels but, unlike most other hotel chains, not the prices. You have to actually follow each hotel's link to see the prices. This is clumsy.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

P.S. The accor 3-day asia sale should be starting soon (see the hotel deals forum). They said it would start on 27th (Paris time?), but one day early for A*club members.

this happens when you enter your A-club number... try searching as a guest, then you see the prices right away

Even if you don't enter via your aclub number, it is still not a great help, since they show the single occupancy rates and often unavailable rates, so I guess these are the lowest possible rates and not the lowest available for those dates.

I haven't experienced this. The price always seems to display for me.

I can confirm pcg2001 experience. Prices don't show on the list when you enter A-club number and if you don't the prices are not correct (mostly lower than the actual rates, sometimes higher). I always search on a site like booking.com (they have most Accor hotels) and then book through Accorhotels.com if the price is atractive.

It's VERY annoying the way the pricing is shown as the web site (IMO) is very good and easy to use/navigate. What is the point of showing the lowest possible rates if these are not available.

When I book a hotel room I don't care what the lowest price "could" have been, but what is going to leave my wallet :(
