VX usually go on sale with a promo code or from $39 over the past few months, but I see they are down to $40 now. I note that there is nothing about a sale on the site, just normal prices. So have VX pushed down to $40 for strategic purposes or are forward bookings not flash?
Around Thanksgiving and as was talked about here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/virgin-america-elevate/995133-why-price-hike-after-18th-november.html) fares have plummeted. I have been watching fares on numerous trans routes whilst in the region and even JFK-SEA is down to $100. Value for money on VX at the moment is fantastic. Hope it lasts!
