Asia - TPE Airport Q's

I'm planing an overnight in TPE, what are the airport facilites like, is it possible to do overnight there (like SIN)?
Which One World Lounges (CX is there) are there others?
And transport to TPE city, what are the options?

The old airport hotel is still being renovating so you've got to go into town.
Taxi is about NT$1000-1200, buses are under NT$200. I usually get car service for same price as taxi - if interested, send me pm (driver doesn't speak English but if you have hotel, he'll find it for you).

I'm not too sure about lounges.

For TPE-Taipei i took the bus to Taoyuan (sp?) station and boarded the HSR to Taipei Main station where i took a taxi to my hotel.

if i remember correctly the bus was NT30 while the train was NT130. Alot cheaper and faster than a taxi if your in central taipei.

This works but takes much much longer....you are better off with Evergreen Bus from airport directly into town for 150NT.

totally agree it makes zero sense to use the HSR to go downtown. check other threads for hotels info. Novotel will open this week I understand, brand new hotel in the aiport, just not sure how you would walk to it thugh, but they tend not to worry about things like how can the customers get here in Taiwan
