Other Hotel Programs - Accor/A-Club rep on FlyerTalk

I took the liberty of requesting Accor to dispatch a "lurker" to this forum (or a newly established Accor/A-Club forum should we ever get one (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/talkboard-topics/985311-forum-proposal-accor-club.html)) to answer our questions and listen to our concerns.

In the mean time, if I was wanting to use the voucher, would it work with the lowest rate online, namely the prepaid. Or would I have to book the more expensive rate and have it defeat the purpose of the voucher

Consider vouchers as cash, you can only use them when settling your bill at check out. So in short no you cannot use it for pre-paid rates.

Of course you can still use it if you have a prepaid rate and use hotel services such as restaurant or bar.

A-Club is such a lousy program. Doubt any lurker will do it any good. Recommend jumping off this sinking A-Club ship as soon as possible.

No matter if A|Club is "a lousy program", there are many Accor hotels that are really worth discussing about.

That's why an own section for Accor / A|Club and a lurker abolutely does make sense
