hello folks
today i saw fare jfk to sfo (aa) $ 272 ai for 12/13-12/14 -
(2586 miles for 12/13 , 12/14 sfo lax 500 miles, lax jfk 2475 = = 5561)
I don't recall last year's fare for weekend of 12/19-12/20 [jfk- sfo/lax ] but right now it's expensive... about $380 - $400 ai...
what are your thoughts for weekend of 12/19-12/20 [jfk/sfo or lax], will fare drop to 272 ai ? or should i confirm my ticket for 12/13 for $272 ai?
i've have 137,000+ eqm, i'm looking to accure add'l RDM for NYDBL .
pls adv your thoughts....

thank u

That's higher than what UA is charging. Just a few days ago I was seeing $230 AI for SFO-JFK (and vice versa) all the way through 12/17.

Christmas week, with Christmas on a Friday and many people having a half day or the entire day off on the Thursday? That's a prime travel weekend to be sure. I wouldn't think they rates would drop, I bet they are going to fill many seats that weekend (and the one after it)
