While this deal is nice, the AAA rate is currently $220 (!!!!) and I managed to snag $179 during the one day sale. The only inclusion of value for people with status is the 10k bonus miles. On a 5 night stay the daily rate comes to $264.
But, if you have no status, the room upgrade and daily breakfast is of value.

I agree with Mary and if one hasn't used the DEL5K offer yet combining the AAA rate at Kauai ($220) with Diamond benefits (assuming status) is a deal that just can't be beat. With the AAA rate if you check in on 12/19 you can get the $220 for as long as you need (not getting the increase as all the other options). It's one of the few times where I would definitely get AAA membership.
Thanks for the posting though, for those without high-tiered status it might be a good offer depending on dates.

I just checked rates for our stay....11/25-11/30 and also saw the $220/night including buffet for 2...WOW! Makes me wonder if I shouldn't save my FFN's for another time...

Your observations are on the spot for GH Kauai. Here is a rate comparison for all three resorts (includes tax & resort fee):
Three Nights Stay at HR Maui
Offer Code 34FRGP: $ 671
AAA: $ 878
Four Nights Stay at HR Waikiki Beach
Offer Code 34FRGP: $ 729
AAA: $ 755
Five Nights Stay at GH Kauai
AAA: $ 1.327
Offer Code 34FRGP: $ 1.556
Offer Code DEL5K (http://goldpassport.hyatt.com/gp/en/offers/pop_tc.jsp?contentId=90018905) is for unlimited use (max 5K GP bous points/account) and has to be added by CS manually if 34FRGP (important for rate reduction!) is entered.

I'm saving my FFN for Waikiki in March.

My plans are to have about 12 FFN's to redeem...the first 5 here, the next 5 in AZ over NYE, and 2 more in Beijing in March at the Park Hyatt...while those are some AWESOME deals at the Hyatt in Kauai, you can't beat free!;)
If they extend the redemption period to April for diamonds, I may make a few more stays and redeem at the new clearwater Hyatt in April...that place looks NICE, and with the full kitchens it would be ideal with the family in tow!

I'm not collecting them until next year. I requalified a while ago.
The suites in Kauai are an addiction - and a bargain for the price we're paying.

I wouldn't count on Clearwater participating, since it's a new property. I got an error message when I checked on a date in March. Also, since the stays need to be completed by 1/31, you probably won't know if the redemption period gets extended until after the earning period is over.

As I came along a question (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/12708287-post243.html) involving DEL5K (http://goldpassport.hyatt.com/gp/en/offers/pop_tc.jsp?contentId=90018905) and DELISH ($ 150 F&B certificate) special offer codes:
Its common knowledge that hyatt.com accepts only one special offer code and CS can add a second. I am confident that its legitimate that we combine 34FRGP and DEL5K or 34FRGP and DELISH offer codes. As the resort associates take care of your bill, I would confirm this opinion at check-it. If f they challenge this, it might help to have a clue who added one either DEL5K or DELISH offer code to your reservation.
BUT [this case is only import for those members who use DEL5K the first time (max. 5K GP bonus points/member regardless of the number of stays)]
As T& C to Offer Code 34FRGP (http://goldpassport.hyatt.com/gp/en/offers/pop_tc.jsp?contentId=90020114) says limit one bonus per stay, I am in no doubt that DEL5K bonus points offer don’t apply. Consequently, no 5K GP bonus points will be transferred to our accounts automatic. If someone feels the need for greed and plays hardball or even testing the waters (eg. combing 34FRGP, DEL5K and DELISH offer codes to receive $ 300 F&B credit/per stay and 15K GP bonus points) and he don’t talk to an associate who is willing to add 5K to his/her account without hesitation, s/he should be prepare to argue.

You put too much faith into the T&Cs IMHO. If somebody were to ask me, I would disregard what the T&Cs say (since virtually all promos say something to the effect of "limit one bonus per stay" or "not combinable with other promos", which is for the most part inaccurate as to what ACTUALLY happens) and I would guess that DEL5K is in fact combinable with 34FRGP and if DELISH is combinable with 34FRGP, then I'd be 95% certain that DEL5K is also be combinable with 34FRGP.
Now I would assume that DELISH and DEL5K would NOT be combinable to earn $300 F&B credit per stay, but that is only because they are almost identical promos. But if anybody wants to give it a try and it works, definitely post back here with your results. I just personally wouldn't have the juevos to try to get away with that one myself. :p

I am confident that you can combine 34FRGP and DEL5K or DELISH. We differ, if 10K + 5K bonus points will post automatic.

In addition to Karen’s statement (The promotions are not combinable (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/11936667-post80.html)), there are other hurdles:
Advance reservations required using three offer codes (34FRGP, DELISH & DEL5K). As you are only able to add one offer code online, you have to ask CS to add DELISH and DEL5K.
Assume you find an associate s/he fulfill your request: You have to confirm with front desk, if your F&B credit will be $ 300…
