Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - How can I change my flight date in online?

I am a new member in this forum. Got some questions.
I traveled from USA to Bangladesh sep3rd 2009 in Cathay pacific airlines with 2 way ticket. I will fly again on Feb16th of 2010. Unfortunately, I need to change my flight date to Feb 19th 2010. How can I change it, will it be possible to change in online successfully? I heard that in this airlines i can change it free without any charge? Is it true?

Also, will it possible to check my TKT statues of Feb 16th which is my return TKT in online? please Let me know if anyone knows the right answer.

You need to know if your current ticket allows you to change date without incurring additional charges.

The best way is to check with your travel agent.

I don't think you can change it online. You need to contact either the travel agent who booked the ticket or Cathay Pacific directly to see firstly if any changes are possible, and if so whether there will be a change fee.

Most likely your Feb 16 flight is confirmed, or it should not be ticketed.

Your ticket should be the type that is good for six months or more, but you should check with your TA or CX. The ticket validity should also be on the e-ticket receipt. Most ex-US tickets allow change on flight segments except the first one or if it is a promotion for certain flights only. Hopefully your ticket can be changed if seats for your booking class is available for the new flight. However, your change is probably not free because you are changing from a weekday flight to a weekend flight.

I believe that if you're with MPC, you can view your e-ticket online at any time, which shows your ticket details. Other than that, you'll have to check with your TA or CX on your ticket and the ticket details regarding date changes

Check with whoever you bought the ticket from. Where did you buy it?

You can check with your TA (travel agent) if you booked a ticket through them. If you booked your ticket online, then you can check by calling CX. Their numbers are located somewhere on the CX website. Depending on your location, call the number in your area. They will both be able to tell you whether changing the date in your fare class will cost any money.

Thanks memebers, I called directly Cathey Pacific Reservation number to reconfirm my TKT, And also confrimed that if i changed my TkT will it be free or not.

Yes, It free to change my TKT unfortunately, there is no seat the day that i wanted to go. So, I am keeping my date same.
