Midwest - Branson at Christmas time

I just saw the tv ad for Branson at Christmas, so I am sure that is where my wife got the idea. She wants to go there for a few days the week after Christmas. (I am still hoping my Cats make a bowl game and we go there instead, but realistically probably a year away.) We have a 6 & 8 year old. I am curious if anybody has done this before & what recommendations they would have for us.

More than likely, we will use points to stay at a Holiday Inn, but would be open to suggestions if there is some other place that we should stay.

Well, apparently nobody has been to Branson at Christmas. Oh well, if things continue for my Cats, I will not either. It is now looking like we will be going bowling this year. I will hopeully be back in a few weeks looking for the best Holiday Inn near the Alamodome.
