Hertz - What does "weekly rate" really mean and "one way rental confirmed"?

Booked to pick up at Shades of Green at Disney and return to MCO - really only about 25 miles between locations.

Rental is on Monday at 1pm and return Sat at 8am. Using code for 5 days gets me the weekly rate but when I think of five days, I think of 120 hours...perhaps not so to Hertz. So, if it gives me the weekly rates at the times I noted, I can expect it to be honored? I just do not want to be surprised as I very often am with return of car rentals....

Also, is this a 5 day rental since I am supposed to get 1250 Aeroplan miles plus a 250 mile bonus for the rental...so this is a 5 day rental for that also...and it says that you pay a air miles fees but only if you have US FF program...which Aeroplan is not...but am I just parsing words...

Also, the confirm says "One Way Rental Confirmed". I know my rental is one way but does this mean that one of the fees to be added and not disclosed in my rate will be some sort of one way drop off fee? Again, just do not want to be surprised...

I have dropped national for hertz so this is my first time renting with them. National was not doing me anything for the many years I was with them....

and thanks for the heads up about the rip off gas station close to the airport....

You'll be fine with your pickup & return times. If it says that you will only incur a FF surcharge if you are redeeming US based miles then you should be fine. In regards to the "one way rental confirmed" statement...you should be fine as well but you may want to give them a call just to confirm.

Disney area HLE's should be part of the same pool as MCO so while they are one-ways they are still being returned within the same pool and therefore are eligible for local rates. The overwhelming majority of one-way rentals with Hertz just have higher rates rather than actual "drop fees" that are added.
