Budget Travel - Stand by last minute tickets still exists?

Hello to everyone

I remenber buying a standby/last minute ticket for a 100 dollars, New York-Madrid, like 11 years ago. Do you if these things still exits? I have a one way ticket to NY and I would like toknow if this is still possible

I do not believe any airlines do that anymore.

The closest you get are the weekend sales that many of the major US airlines put out a few days before a weekend. They usually require immediate online purchase, are nonrefundable, and are for short weekend jaunts.

Unless it is a mistake fare, I would never expect to find what you found 11 years ago.

Standby fares tend to be a perk for airline employees. The only exception tends to be for charter flights
