Is this going to work?, and hows it looking for getting the most points, and will AA be happy to ticket it, if all the later flights are AA.

It should work fine, and AA ought to ticket it with no difficulty.

As for getting the most points, that would depend on your aim - Qantas elite status or mileage accumulation, or some other airline's FF plan? Certainly in most cases longer flights are better for accruing points, and your itinerary is at the low end of mileage flown in many DONE4 itineraries, but if that's what you want, more power to you.

But, for example, flying from Hong Kong to New York, then doing your N. America itinerary more in reverse order, means you could gain quite a few more miles out of it, i.e. ...HKG-JFK-MIA-MEX-MIA-LAS-LAX-LHR...

Especially useful if accruing QFF SCs - all those domestic US flights is 1st :Dclass (though presumably MIA-MEX-MIA will be in 'D')
