Well. I have nearly 300k points on VS. All of them earned recently by not flying VS. Everytime I call to use them I seem to get sent off to some call center where the agent knows less about the program than I. Now at the point where just want to use them period for premium travel on anyone except VS. What is the easiest VS partner to use points on for premium travel? International then for domestic US. Thanks.

Hi RTWSTARALLIANCE,

From the VS website the US partners are;

Hawaiian,
US airways
Continental.

To book you will need to go through the call centre.

Is there a specific reason you do not want to use them on VS Upper Class? or use them on Singapore, Air New Zealand or Jet airways?

TBS Thanks. I was looking for some order on ease of use both domestic and international.

I would prefer using them on SQ of all the airlines on the list. But when I call they have nothing using points. And I have tried. Not just flights from US but within SE Asia. So if someone has a line of easy use I am open to that. Thank you again.

Hi,
I have only used the VS miles on VS upper class flights so have no idea which ones will be easier ( I have heard that SQ is VERY hard to redeem points on).

Using them on Hawaiian to Hawaii may need booking well in advance

Hopefully other posters will post their experiences.

Good luck!^

SQ (at least in any premium class) is reportedly very difficult to get using ANY partner's miles.
