InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Status Match?

I was wondering if Priority Club does a status match? I'm thinking of moving over from HH Diamond - especially with the new Indigo property in NYC, but hate to loose out on the 50% bonus until I get to status level.

Are you planning to stay only at Indigo, HI or HIX? PC platinum doesn't work in IC.

I had HH gold VIP and PC status matched me last year to Platinum. All you have to do is fax or e-mail a recent HH statement.

I got a status match from Marriott Gold and Hyatt Plat to ICH Plat. Mind you, I had already over 25 nights of reservations in my ICH profile. No idea if that helped.

By the way: your status match will be for the current calendar year. No, I am not kidding. Even if you do it now. It will take some seriously frustrating phone time to get that sorted...

You mean if I get a status match from my Hilton Diamond status, they will grant it to me for the remaining 2 months of the year? Or were you saying you were able to get it through next year?
