Asiana Club - 777 -first/bus/econ

Had a heated argument with someone who says he knows all about Asian air fleets. He told me that no OZ 777 has first class seating and the only first is in 747s.
I'm equally sure this is wrong but cannot substantiate my opinion. Please tell me; who is right? and if there is a 777 with FCY, which one is it?
TIA

You are right (of course). The 3 Class 777-200ER is HL7775. Just one in the OZ fleet, this is why your friend might not be aware. And its not listed on the OZ website.
A quick search will bring up threads like:

I think your friend is too relied on airline websites and seatguru, but never fly once before. :p Ask your friend to see if he knows about if all 74M have new seats or not, if he say yes, that means he knows nothing.
Actually, althought OZ does not have seat map for this plane, it did listed in the timetable flights that are 3 class service on the 777 like some days for NRT and ORD. It says clearly some 777 flights are FCY and some are CY.

Yeap, he's right. One 777 FCY fleet operates to Chicago since the summer, 2008. :)
Why is there only 1 B777 with F? Any plans to add F to other B777s?

Most of what we know is in those threads. The 777 with F was a new delivery. And as far as we know, there is no intention to retrofit old 777s with F seats. IIRC there are still 2 more 777s on order but we don't know how they will look like.
There are also 30 A350s on order and again, we don't know how they will look like.

Because ORD is originally served with FCY on the 74M, so it is wise to put 3 class 777 to replace.
Remember the times when OZ has 6 74M and 2 744 ? It is basically a one to one replacement. 3 74M (413,414,415) convert to 747BDSF, replace with 3 777, (755,756,775). Supposedly OZ want 777 to stay with 2 class, I guess maybe somehow they change the last minute, and find that if they make a 777 with 3 class, it can also substitute with 74M or 744.
With the economy like this, they had already delayed retirement of HL7417, why would they even want to add F to other 777 ? The first thing is to retire the one left with the old seats rather than spending more money.
Adding F to the rest of 777 is not easy at all, as some older 777 when they refit new C seats without AVOD. I don't think they want to do it or they would have done it already.
