Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - SQ, so few Saver awards left

Have SQ in reality quietly doubled the miles you need for many long hall awards and got away with it.

Many routes now have the savers listed as 'not offered', because they are nice new planes. But will they ever come back, or are they (as I fear) gone for good.

Its not as if these planes are going to be new forever, and on many routes there is now no 'old' option.

Its such a jump to double the miles. It seems like hyper inflation?:td:

A380 and 777-300ER are not premium product forever!

Well, not exactly true. Singapore Air have upgraded their 333s and now 773->77As and still offer saver awards on those routes. Surely sooner or later they will open up at least 77W routes on saver awards for KF members.

Or they might not.. And if they're not going to open it, I've considered moving to CX and I might do that in the end..
