Wirelessly posted (HTC_S730 Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 7.6))

I am departing in LH F in NRT but am told that I can only use UA IFL or NH IFL - not both.

a) is this true?

b) which is better?

a) I don't think so, but
b) Once you've been to the NH F lounge, you won't want to go anywhere near the UA F lounge.

I checked the *A access rules - I can access either. It appears to be a case of if the first agent doesn't agree, try again.

I tired UA first, they said one only. So I went to NH (the small one nr gate 40-something) and they were happy to let me visit them and then keep the pass to get into UA later.

I'm now in UA IFL after NH IFL. Same agent now happy to let me in, even though obvious I'd been in the NH one for a while ...

There's not much between the lounges. Either are great. At the moment, NH is packed, there is only me and one other person in the UA IFL, so UA IFL is a better deal right now.

I actually prefer the layout/feel of the UA IFL slightly over the NH IFL (admittedly I've not tried the large NH IFL which may be even better than the small one).

What pass are you talking about? We just showed our boarding passes.

The lounge invitation card they give you at check-in. Both lounges asked for it before entry.

Although the *A IFL rules just say F BP, not that a specific invite card is required.

I didn't try the "I wasn't give one route". Or equally, "I connected int NRT", or "I did online check-in".

I got both lounges in the end just by trying the NH one first.

The best bit of the trip coming up in a few mins - "time to go home".
