InterContinental Hotels: Priority Club & Inter-Continental Ambassador - Referral for Ambassador

I am going to sign up for the Ambassador program. Is there any referral bonuses for the person referring me? If so send me you info and I will reference the first individual so that they can get points.

The only bonus I am aware of is to hotel employees. If you have a favorite IC front desk agent, you could ask them to sign you up. There's also anecdotal evidence that signing up in house at certain properties may get you an extra-special upgrade on your that visit to entice you.

I am staying at the IC Singapore in a few weeks. Is it easy to sign up for ambassador at the hotel, or is it easier to do in advance? I assume the same benefits apply if you sign up on the spot?

Easier in advance, and if you want to use the 'free weekend night' voucher it is essential (although note it takes 3-4 weeks for your voucher to arrive).

The only benefit of signing up on the spot would be: a) you could negotiate your upgrade in advance with the check-in person who will be on commission to make the sale and so should be flexible with what you get and b) if you have no stays before SIN your membership will obviously last longer if you sign up later.
