Hi all.

Am looking for a sub-200 USD fare to Singapore from Manila rt.

Is this possible? Searched ITA and am getting tickets just over 200. What discount airliners should I look at? Not really familiar with the area?

It would be for travel in 9 days...

Thanks

UPDATE: Looked at airasia, and they have no same PNRs MNL to SIN, but I can do KUL to SIN a/i for 28 USD. I did MNL to KUL, but was priced at 180 USD. So, airasia is out. Not sure which other LCCs there are that serve SE Asia...

Try Tiger, Jetstar or Cebu Pacific. You can also try Philippine Airlines "econolite" fares. These are bookable through the normal website. The fare means you get no food and sit at the back of the plane, but travel on a regular PR flight.

Be aware that the flights with Tiger dont actually go from MNL . Its Manila(clark) with is really DMIA in Clark about 2 hours drive from MNL.

Trying checking out Jetstarasia.

Yeah That's true but the op said he had already checked out AK so I figure he is aware of that. There are loads of buses between the two, in any case.

FYI: You can fly from MNL to CRK on Zest Air for P350. Likewise, an alternative route could be Cebu-SIN on Cebu Pacific.

Really? Where might one find these "loads" of buses?
