I enjoy Room Service at Four Seasons hotels worldwide -- they are consistently very very good if not excellent all around.
Some of the most memorable room service experiences:
Velouté of chicken, Hotel de Crillon, Paris
Spaghetti Bolognaise, Majestic Barriere, Cannes
Asian Bento box, Four Seasons, Singapore
Everything we tried, Four Seasons, Las Vegas
Meals from Nob Hill, Shibuya, CraftSteak, SkyLofts at MGM Grand, Las Vegas
Meals from Spice Market and Shintaro, Four Seasons, Bangkok
French Onion Soup, Four Seasons, Paris
Thanksgiving Dinner, Four Seasons, San Francisco
Japanese Breakfast, Four Seasons Marunouchi, Tokyo

The meal served in our room at the Ryokan Tawaraya in Kyoto was unforgettable.
My most recent favorite room service was last week at the Mauna Kea Beach hotel in HI. We had a wonderful breakfast on our terrace overlooking the beach and the ocean. The food was perfect and elegantly served.

Tafelspitz served at the Imperial in Wien. A peasant's dish (boiled beef) but served table side by the white gloved room waiter, with full silver service. Superb flavour and style in a stunning setting (I had a suite with a rather lavish dining room, gold leaf rococco style). Later discovered that Tafelspitz was the favourite of the last Austrian emperor, and consequently an Imperial specialty, so there was history behind the lavish presentation.
