Air France Frequence Plus - Middle Row Seats (777-200) in Affaires/Business

I'll be taking my first AF flight next week and have a question regarding the middle row of seats (Row 3 & 4) on the 777-200.

I'm traveling solo and had booked 3E (over 5L, the only available AB or LK seat in the front section)

Now I see the remaining 2 seats in Row 3 are taken. :(

How much space is there between each seat?

Right now, the seat map is showing all three middle seats in Row 4 are open.

I'm tempted to switch to Row 4 but am wondering if the space between seats issue is really even an issue?

Also, since there's no guarantee that Row 4 will remain empty, it probably would be best to wait til day of travel. (fwiw, I'm flying JFK-CDG @ 5PMish)

If y'all suggest I do switch, where's the best place/with whom should I request the seat change (check in desk, Lounge or Gate Agent)?

thanks

As it is a bulkhead seat, should be easy to get in & out for your neighbour

Hello,

I will be traveling with my finance in business on 777-200's this weekend. Currently booked in Row 5 K/L on one of the flights. The only other options (together) are 4 E/F and 9 E/F/G. I just want to sleep and not be disturbed on these flights (I probably won't even eat the meals). Given that sleep is my objective, would you recommend the row 4 middle section, where we would be sitting next to a stranger, or row 5 K/L, where we are closer to the bathrooms/service area?

Also, if I check in online (can I do this if I booked with Delta and am leaving from NY?) can I book row 3, which I gather would be the best option??

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hello,

My only piece of advice is that you might consider that you work too hard! ;)

PS: 5KL are fine seats. Row 3 may show as available if you are elite plus, not otherwise I believe.

Everytime I book on AF on 777-200. I always pick row 4 or 5 if its possible..Normally it is..Im just a regular FB flyer no status..but because flying in business you have the lux to check in online 32 hours before..Then row 3 is open to pick. Normally row 3 is block till the day of or when you check in online..I have always received my beloved row 3a 3b. If this is cant be done for you..any row in the forward cabin in Affaires class is good..I would not worry..
