Other Middle East and Africa Frequent Flyer Programs - [EY] Etihad new lounge in LHR-T4? MIssing miles claim?

Now that EY has moved to T4 in LHR (I was on the very first plane to arrive there in lieu of the old T2/3)-its lounge-use must have changed too, I think-but could not find any details on its website re this. Anyone may know anything more?
2.I just discovered I must have reached silver status-but 1 of 4 flights was missing in the statement (ex LHR on 3sept)-strangely enough the other 3 flights showed up-but when I used the ''claim missing miles'' with PNR it answered details could not be found. Dont want to spend fortunes on foning some far-away nr-any other way to get hold of these?
3.is it right indeed that silver grants you lounge-access, even when flying in eco? Or is this only for EY's own lounge in AUH? (great for transits anyway then).
Sorry-beginners questions-but I am indeed just a starter on EY and just about to start getting the finer details.

Hi thaifly,
If you can't get an answer online, can you phone a local or almost-local number to EY and find out?
1. I'll have a look on EY's site about press releases on the T4 move; it will very likely include the detail of the lounges or transitional arrangements;
2. Can you contact the 'office of the CEO', in addition to the FFP contact person? Just cc. to each contact
3. I'm not sure of the current situation re. lounge access, but this should be noted clearly on the EY site, on the EY Silver benefits (or not!)
I hope this helps in the meantime.
Can you please go to the second post of the Mid-East Airline FFP Trip Reorts sticky in the forum, to add details of the lounge in T4 if/when you visit (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/9279486-post2.html) (or find out about it?)
Thanks!
BB

thanks for the hint-in the meantime I've read a little further and found a @maillink-used it and the miles were duely credited in 2 ays-with anapology-so I am now duely awaiting that silver card! In my country-Nl in West Europe-it seems all calls are routed to the Mid-East centre (EY does not fly in here-but does to BE nearby).
re 3-I asked this as the info given sometimes states only for BUsiness class, and sometimes in other pages for silver cards-even if flying eco.
But by now I am impressed with EY-level of service so it may even mean this freebee is also thrown in-but next flight will not be untill 2010.
Does anyone have any pics of the new EY F lounge at T4 LHR?

It is not a first but a combined business/first lounge as far as I know. If you have a look at Etihad press releases at their site, you will see a photo of Danii Minogue in the lounge. Unfortunately more of Danii than the lounge. Looks quite nice from what you can see, but I am thinking it might be crowded. If you can wait until the 24th November, we will be flying out from there and I am planning to do a trip report with photos, unless life becomes too hectic.
Thanks - seen the Danii pictures! We're heading out on 20 November so will also try and grab some.

Thanks - seend the Danii pictures! We're heading out on 20 November so will also try and grab some.We start our Etihad adverture on the 4th from Sydney and will try and do a trip report with photos as we go. The lounge they use in Sydney is the Qantas Business lounge - nice but not fantastic like the Qantas first class lounge. Looking forward to the first class lounge in Abu Dhabi which sounds nice. Are you flying through AUH?
Flying "to" rather than "through" AUH. First time on EY. I tried EK F LHR SYD on a mix of A380 and 777 (but all suites) in March and that was awesome. Very bored with BA recently, so looking forward to see the EY product - fingers crossed we get one of the new F suites aircraft!

Ek is supposed to be fantastic - have a number of friends who have flown with them.
I love the service in BA first, but the cabin is really looking pretty tired.
The price initially attracted me with EY, but I am really looking forward to trying something different. If you are on EY18, you stand a pretty good chance of the suites :)
Yes the EK suites are very good, and the shower room on the 380 is quite fun.
Agree BA F seat is very tired, usually a bit dirty and now that there is so much competition out there, it was an easy choice to try some other airlines' products, particularly with competitive pricing.
We are on the EY18, so hopefully, will see the new interior.

I've read about the showers on EK - Mr FM thinks they are silly, but I can see it could be really useful if you were going straight to a meeting after landing and didn't have time to go to an arrivals lounge/hotel.
Have a safe trip - I am starting to get excited about ours - or I will once I have all my work out the way. I am such a control freak I have to get everything done before I go, as I never trust my very competent staff to do anything. :D

I have it from very good sources that EY is in negotiation with QF for use of its F lounge for EY F pax. Of course if you are heading to AUH, BAH, BEY or AMM you can use the QF codeshare and have full use of F lounge if a QF Platinum. I'm sure you're aware of that. The QF paper will cost you on average 2K more than the EY J or F equivalent:rolleyes: Typical QF:D

Unfortunately never reached the dizzy heights of platinum - was gold for many years, but now am a lowly silver. My experience of the QF F lounge was when flying F to Singapore just after it opened in 2007 - very nice. Since then we have been beset by severe illness in the family, so no overseas trips at all. As a longtime Qantas fan, it took a lot to lure me to Etihad, but I picked up first class tickets at a little over $7,000 pp - 3 passengers - you do the maths on the savings. :D
