Yep - as you know, this stuff is everywhere in Taiwan. No excuse for an international airline. Except of course they don't really have international thinking.

The sad thing is that some of the English may well have been written by a native - only to have been "improved" by a local.
I'm a native English speaker - and this has certainly happened to some of my stuff.

It almost looks like a machine translated it.
It is not like they don't have native English speakers working for them. It is also easy to hire some native speakers to translate for them in Taiwan.
The sad thing is that they don't even know better to think about getting people who can help.

An international airline should definitely do better in its English. However, ungrammatical, misspelt and/or non-sensical mistakes are found everywhere. At least EVA isn't serving "the palace explodes the diced chicken", yet :p

This is sooo funny. Makes me wonder if they are using Babelfish to translate this lol.

One thing great about English as a language is it has an extremely high tolerance for being utterly massacred in terms of grammar and pronunciation and yet still functioning as a viable form of communication. There are many languages in the world where the slightest deviation from what is proper will leave you completely unintelligible. I appreciate the effort even when they miss the mark and always enjoy a good laugh when the REALLY miss the mark.:D:D
Don't take it to seriously.:D
