The best thing about the hotel is its location at the top of the Spanish Steps. Other sights like Borghese gardens, fashion district Via Condotti or underground station are close. There is also an elevator up to the street where the hotel is located - no need to go always up/down through the crowd sitting on the Spanish Steps.
The rooms are rather small - even the suites. I received an upgrade to a suite with a huge terrace. The room was rather standard and the bathroom a bit old - really nothing to rave about. But the view was so amazing - just to sit on the terrace with some drinks and enjoy the view. The Royal Ambassador perks had been granted without any problem (upgrade, welcome gift (wine, fruits), late check-out, free minibar).
The hotel has a small fitness center but no pool.
