The quick calculator on skywards is a stuff up.
It's actually 12747 miles for return trip including online booking bonus and gold tier bonus.
That's 319USD (not 398USD) worth of miles for 365USD; still not bad given 15 hours of flying.

You're a bit late with this one. Paulnick suggested it to me back in late September when I was looking for extra points to make Gold.
It ran all through October into early November but as you say expires tonight - in fact it has vanished today from the Special Offers list.
But, as they say, I've got mine!!
Flying out tomorrow and, as long as the miles get posted in the stated 48 hours, I'll be Gold for the return leg & have a chance to check out the Singapore Lounge.
