Will be flying JFK-ICN on the lunchtime flight on 1st Jan and if things go according to plan will probably be nursing a hangover over monumental proportions... ;-)

Right now I have 8F, 8H and 8J for my party of 3. However I was just browsing the seat maps and realised there is a front cabin with 2 rows and a main cabin with another 6 rows.

My seats are in the rear row of the front cabin and hence adjacent to the galley and not far from the toilets behind. I have had some awful "near galley" experiences before (mostly on UA) and overheard many conversations that i could really do without. Curious to know whether anyone with experience on this aircraft (think its the new seats) would recommend the front cabin or just somewhere in the middle of the main cabin...

Many thanks for any insights..

According to one trip report (sorry I don't remember where I saw), front part feels cramped while rear part (where 6 rows are there) is spacious. So rear part was recommended on that report.

I prefer 10H, main J cabin, I have flown this flight a few times now.
