Hey all,

Just a few questions I hope someone can help me out with!

I was looking to book some rooms for the Hyatt hotels in Hong Kong for Mid-January 2010 and was wondering:

1. How far in advance would you recommend booking in? I noticed that, for example, the Hyatt Shatin Mountain King Rooms have already been booked out!

2. Can you only purchase the Advance Purchase rates on specific days? For example, last week I was looking at Hyatt Shatin and the AP rates were there, but yesterday and today they're gone!

Thanks again!

In general it is always best to book rooms as early as possible to secure a reservation for the dates, room type, and rate you want.

Of course in the case of a non-refundable prepaid reservation, one must be sure of travel dates before making a reservation.

Availability and rates can change at any time, so if you don't see a rate you saw yesterday it is possible that it is no longer being offered.

If you cannot find what you want online, I would suggest calling the reservations center, or even better yet the property itself to enquire. Hotels often still have some availability even though they do not appear to on the website.

Good luck with your reservations

Mike
