KLM Flying Dutchman - KLM: Top FAs from EBB to AMS this Friday

It's nice that every now and then there are really great FAs out there that make a poor flyers life much easier.

The crew on KLM from EBB to AMS in C was such a case this Friday. Personal service, quick and just really really friendly - perfect! Thanks to all of you and keep it up the good work! ^

This kind of service is - unfortunately - not the rule on all airlines and all crews so I wanted to mention it here.
The contrast was then Delta on the second segment. I made the mistake of remarking to a colleague that the Delta material is not as good as the KLM material when boarding and unfortunately the Delta FA heard it (he was behind the curtain) and got really pissed. Needless to say that the second segment was not nice at all whith the Delta FA almost refusing to service us - e.g. when I very politely requested him to hang my stuff ("are you sure our closet is good enough for you?"), then commenting on our selection of drinks etc. :(

Good to hear that you had a good experience. To me, I do think the crew can be a hit of miss. In one of my earlier posting, I had some really good streak of luck with them, but on one of my trip over to Toronto, the crew in C was the "follow the book" type of crew, nothing out of the books, but on the return, I had a wonderful crew.

The Delta crew really sounds unprofessional. If I were them, I would have tried my best to prove you wrong. Instead they choose the bitter way and tried to make your life much harder and to prove you right.. what goes??
Maybe you should write something to Customer Service.

What is the e-mail address to where you can send e-mails that you had a good flight etc.?

Yep, very true. In this case I only remarked about their seats - to me great service is also important and to be honest, Delta's food is quite nice and I like their selection of drinks. But that behavior voided all the 'soft' advantages that Delta has...

Oh dear. Not sure where i stand on this one. Wouldn't condone FA's on delta being rude, but mouthing off about their inferior product seems like fairly poor manners, and a bit like trying to draw attention to yourself. I'd respectfully suggest this is a better place to compare and contrast carriers and their services.

Nah - I go along with the idea that those FA's should have pushed the boat out to change the OP's view of Delta. I mean, you can either take the view as an FA that 'stuff it, there are plenty other passengers (which there isn't if you look at the finances) so I'll make him pay' resulting in one customer never going back. Alternatively you can provide a top class service and guarantee future revenue. Sounds like these FA's took the former approach.

Agree that would be bad manners. And I promise to never talk about these topics on a plane ever again. In this case I didn't realize the FA was behind the curtain and was unaware that he would listen into my private conversation with my colleague.

Is it not equally bad manners of the FA to lug in on your private conversation?
