Must have an eligible American Express Business card to participate. My SimplyCash Business Amex was eligible, but my SPG Business Amex was not. Hyatt is not the only merchant that works but I thought this would be of interest to some collecting FFN. You must enroll at the link below to participate in the offer.

from ctownflyer: "Savings are valid at Hyatt hotel or resort locations within the U.S., excluding Andaz, Hyatt Place, Hyatt Summerfield Suites and Hyatt Vacation Club locations"

edit: updated the link, thanks for the correction LRD!

I could only enroll by replacing the trailing "2" in nfg05's URL with a "1".

Thanks OP!

Just found out that the Grand Hyatt near me sells Hyatt gift cards, so could use those gift cards on qualifying rates at HP. Will try and see if the gc purchase counts for the statement credit, risk is low as I will still use the gift cards anyway.

My AMEX Corporate card and SPG AMEX are not eligible either. The sign up URL is through the AMEX Small Business portal.

Looks like the plan to purchase gift cards at a full service hyatt and use them at an HP will pan out nicely. Just got my Amex statement and was credited the 3% open savings for hyatt hotels & resorts. Transaction also appeared like it was a normal charge from the full service hotel.

Has anybody with a DL SkyMiles Business Amex got their card to work for this promo?
I clicked on the link above, and was told that my card is ineligible. Kinda strange, as it's an OPEN Savings card...

I called my Business DL Amex customer service #, and was asked how I heard about this promo - e-statement or a pop-up when looking up my card info. I said I wasn't sure anymore, and was told that this may be a targeted promotion, though the guy wasn't too sure.

Would love to take advantage of the route detailed above (GC), just need to make sure I can enroll for this promo!

Just an update, checked my statement today and the $50 statement credit posted after buying two $25 gift cards at a full-service Hyatt.

Was able to use the gift cards at an HP with a $50 AAA rate :). Combined with 2500 points for each Hyatt Place stay (targeted offer), 1000 point G bonus, 250 base points, and 1/2 a FFN credit, was quite a lot for ~$5 with Hyatt Place hotel's taxes.
