Taking the train to the remote terminal by mistake
Since we had the time we decided to go to the wrong terminal.
Had to go through reverse security at the other end and they put our name in some book.
Then we were able to join the incoming arrival stream, take the train back, go through transfer, go through security, etc.
I would estimate it took about 40 minutes and the system was not happy with us.

Of course because you were never supposed to take that train.

LOL It doesn't sound like you took the train BY mistake. But taking it WAS a mistake. ;)
I'm surprised you even managed to do so as often there are attendants at the top of the escalators in the main terminal who want to see a BP for the remote terminal before you are allowed to access the train.
Perhaps this thread will save some other curious folks from a 40 minute trip R/T to nowhere. Well, in fact, I rather like the KE lounge there but it is hardly worth all the effort

I have a feeling the lounge dragons there would deny you access to the KE lounge for being in the wrong terminal. They are very strict with entry rules at KE lounges. My 15 year old sister was denied entry with my mother and I last time, because I wasn't allowed more than 1 guest
When the concourse terminal first opened they were very strict about checking your boarding pass before allowing you to enter escalators leading to the train. Now they are very lax about it and don't even bother checking most people. I imagine some people who have gone there by mistake or out of curiosity have missed their flights due to the long time it will take them to backtrack.
