Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - Any end date on the gold upgrade ?

Been gold for some time, never had the option to use my "ticket" in fact I'm not sure I even know how it looks, will Thai remember for me, ? If not can a new be asked for ?

Also I have never in fact been upgraded ever is this because the routes I use are to full or because you need to have a magical word ?

Do you mean the voucher they sent out? It lasts only for the year.
If you mean the actual gold upgrade for qualifying, it lasts until the next renewal/expiry date.

Hmm, Well I got the card, with my name on and all, but don't remember a voucher ? I guess I missed out on that then, thats to bad

In January they sent out vouchers to your home address for a 1 off 1 leg upgrade.

As for the gold upgrade on qualification, you have to ask to use it when you book the flight.

The upgrade voucher they sent out was valid for 1year and clearly stated it was not transferrable or replaceable. It was for upgrades from economy to business from classes like ymb, or if a F cabin was available for cj. Tough isnogood, if you have lost it, many have not used it, with so many cheap vw fares around, who would? The gold upgrade is stored electronically on your program, regards bkkrop

Thanks, well I ask next time perhaps ones I get lucky, after all I still remember how thai use to be just 5-6 years ago, perhaps some of the old staff is around and feel like doing that extra thing despite that I'm not Thai or claim to be VIP.
