KLM Flying Dutchman - Fast track LHR T4

It seems there's going to be fast track access for business class passengers at LHR T4.

In my experience T4 Fast Track is for C class and Elite+ passengers. You would have to get a Fast Track sticker at the CI desk so if OLCI then you'd loose more time getting the sticker than saved using Fast Track, if you saved any time at all. During peak hours when a lot of pax are C or Elite the Fast Track sometimes was slower than the regular track but, of course, I would only find out once in the queue.

I might be wrong as I haven't used KL on the LHR route for some months now.

When I passed through T4 on Friday the CI zone had already moved, it is opposite the elevators to the trains and to the bridge connecting with the T4 Hilton.

I was told that KL don't pay for the fast track so there is none...and even the security staff said so...this is why I thought this was interesting. I was last there a few months ago though.

Once upon of time elites used to get a fast track sticker, but they stopped giving fast track access to everyone some time back.

Now BA are finally vacating terminal 4 I guess the fast track would end up going away is SkyTeam didn't use it.

That's what I thought. So now it says its only for C-class.

Last time I went through T4 (in March though), the security line was pretty much non existent. I am sure that will change when Skyteam moves to T4, but even that means it cannot be as bad as before!

Can C class pax access the new SkyTeam lounge in T4 upon landing? or are pax immediately dumped into the arrivals/landside area?

They arrive into the landside area.
Reading on the CO forum, there was somebody who knew a way to get to the departure side again, but he did not state how you had to go from the departure side to customs & bagage reclaim.
